This policy covers powellsoftware.co, the website of Powell Software LLC. It does not cover software we build for clients; those projects have their own agreements.
What we collect
- Contact form. Your name, email address, optional company name and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about.
- Site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
How the contact form works
When you send the form, your message is delivered by email to our inbox and is not saved in a database on this website. To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the request comes from a person. Cloudflare processes limited technical data for that check under its own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers. It passes only through the services that run this site and deliver email: Microsoft Azure and Cloudflare.
How long we keep it
Emails from the contact form stay in our inbox for as long as they’re useful for the conversation or any work that follows. Ask us and we’ll delete them.
Cookies
This site doesn’t set cookies for tracking or advertising.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us. Reply to any email from us, or use the contact form.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
